I devoured Scourged by Kevin Hearne, the ninth and final book in the Iron Druid Chronicles within the first 24 hours of its release. Once again, I listened to the brilliant narrations of Luke Daniels. Then, I listened again. As much as I am not ready to say goodbye to this series, Hearne delivered an intense, twisted and heartfelt finale that still left the door open for more stories. (Please let there be more stories.)
Guardian’s Bond by Rhenna Morgan
With my reading mood in full urban fantasy and paranormal mode, I grabbed Guardian’s Bond by Rhenna Morgan when I noticed the narrator was Nicole Poole. This heated paranormal romance with its unique shifter world offered up an interesting start to the Ancient Ink Series.
Twice the Witch by Danielle Garrett
Are you looking for a cozy mystery series with real paranormal elements like witches, ghosts, shifters, magic, and more? Then you need to snuggle up with the Beechwood Harbor Magic Mystery series.
Defying Magick by Debbie Cassidy
Defying Magick by Debbie Cassidy is the second novel in the Witch Blood Chronicles. Character growth, romantic complications and deadly betrayals combined with developments in our heroine’s powers delivered an intense, action-packed adventure.
Nonna’s Corner: National Siblings Day
Welcome to another edition of Nonna’s Corner where I share books I have read with my grandchildren, affectionately referred to as the Royals here at Caffeinated. To celebrate National Siblings Day I have two delightful books, Snow Sisters! and The Littlest Viking provided by Alfred A. Knopf Books for Young Readers a branch of Random House Kids.
