Of Blood and Bone is the second novel in Nora Roberts, Chronicles of the One. In the first book we saw the world fall and learned of the Chosen One and of the prophecy. Newness and Wonder by Alexis Lynne is the first book in the Sylvan Hills series. Set during the holiday season the story introduces us to three sisters related through blood, brought together through circumstance. Set in a small North Carolina town nestled in the mountains you’ll soon want to back your bags and visit.
Death Knell by Hailey Edwards is the third book in the urban fantasy series Foundling. Luce Boudreau and her coterie team up with the mysterious Adam Wu as they investigate a series of bodies washing ashore along the Mississippi River. It seems Death is sending her sister a message. Can she and her team stop an apocalypse and what other danger is out there for her and her team?
This series is brilliant. One of my favorite Sherlock Holmes retellings EVER! The Hollow of Fear by Sherry Thomas is the third book in the Lady Sherlock series. I picked up all three audiobook versions, and FINALLY in November listened to them all for a challenge.
