It was fun heading back to Mystic Creek with Strawberry Hill by Catherine Anderson. This is the fifth novel, but each can be read on their own. A second chance romance, a budding romance and a bear made for another interesting visit to this small mountain town.
The Guardian by Sarah Fine is the second novel in the Immortal Dealers, urban fantasy series. With a clever plot and fun magical world filled with cards, summoning creatures and more I quickly slipped back in thanks to the narrations of Carly Robins.
The Bastard’s Bargain by Katee Robert is the sixth and final novel in the O’Malleys series. There was a delay in the audiobook release that nearly killed me because this is Dmitri Romanov story. The wicked mobster that everyone loves to hate, but cannot help loving.
Kingdom of Needle and Bone by Mira Grant offered a relevant, thought-provoking tale with bone-chilling realism. Despite being a novella, the tale was rich with detail and held me captive. Ms. Grant I need more….
