Singh delivers multiple perspectives, including that of a detective who is convinced Tavish is a black widow.
Set against the lush New Zealand coast and the remote landscape of Fiji, we learn about the close-knit family of Tavish’s wife and the secrets they buried.
Twists and turns made the unreliable narrative addictive. I highly recommend listening, as the performances were top-notch and set the tone. Vikas Adam gave unreliable narrator Tavish’s story depth and believability even as I questioned everything. Is he telling the truth?
The author did a great job of unfolding the tale and revealing events. I doubted everyone, even the police themselves, as the suspense grew. Just as you think it’s over, the danger grows.
