I enjoyed the Business Trip, and was delighted to receive The Fair Weather Friend, by Jessica Garcia. A Detroit meteorologist turns up dead in this multiple-POV suspense thriller. An engaging read that kept me reading.

It's always sunny in Detroit for Faith Richards. The popular TV meteorologist, endearingly referred to as "The Fair Weather Friend" by her viewers, has the world by the tail. But one night, Faith leaves work on a dinner break and never returns. Her body is found the next morning.
The town is reeling, suspects emerge, and long-buried secrets are uncovered. While her allies rally, her list of adversaries also grows. Little does anyone know that only the deepest secrets will expose the truth.
In this riveting thriller from the author of THE BUSINESS TRIP, Jessie Garcia's signature multi-POV, rapid-fire style will propel you into the heart of a mystery no one could have forecasted.
Fair Weather Friend was a well-paced, calculating drawn suspense thriller told from multiple points of view that kept me engaged from the first page.
On the surface, Faith Richards is Detroit’s darling weather reporter. She is the most popular reporter at the station, and there is even a fan club of faithful followers. When she doesn’t return after her lunch to report the ten o’clock weather, we begin to see cracks in her popularity at the station. When her body is discovered the next morning, the tale that unfolds provides plenty of suspects and a look into the life of Faith Richards.
I appreciated the multiple perspectives — from an intern, to a fan, to the man who stalked her and from those within the station. Garcia provided plenty of suspects and kept me guessing as we dig deeper.
Twists, truths and more kept me engaged and delivered a satisfying outcome. If you enjoy suspense thrillers, you’ll want to grab this and read along to figure out what happened to Faith.
