Last week Mr. Caffeinated and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary. It was a quiet affair with dinner at our favorite restaurant. We planned on replacing our family room television in the next four years and grabbed one now before tariffs impacted their price. The kids came over and helped remove the old one and mounted the new one. Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness.

    Hallo, Hallo —

I’ve had a light reading week – wherein, I’m just starting to get back into reading today rather than spent the week reading. I have a lot going on right now with my Dad and it has kept me out of books. Meanwhile, I talked about the book post I’ve received and recapped the posts I’ve featured thus far into 2025. Looking forward to seeing what others are reading and discussing.

Happy Anniversary! I’m glad you had such a wicked good time!! Many happy returns to you both!

Happy anniversary! I made sure to get my new phone before the tariffs. But I heard something yesterday that they aren’t going to put any tariffs on things like electronics – phones, maybe tvs? Who knows, it’s all ridiculous and no idea what is or isn’t going to happen. I really want to read OverGrowth. I need to try to get an e-galley of it if it’s not too late. Hope you have a good week!

  3. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Happy Anniversary! That’s amazing! And ugh, I forgot about how that will effect TVs. So far mine is holding up, but I know I will likely need/want a slightly bigger one once I find my own place. Hate to buy one so early and leave it in a box though. Lol. Wish I could find something soon.

Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them!

    Here’s my StS

Happy Anniversary. I hope that you and your husband had a lovely meal. I’m currently reading Murder at Gull’s Nest and really enjoying it. I look forward to reading your review next week.

Happy Anniversary! I’m not buying anything in the near future. At least I hope not. *knocks on wood that nothing stops working* I’m spending enough on the renovations that I’m using all of the stuff I already have to redecorate. Although, since I’m tearing out the 25 year old carpet for laminate, I may have to get some rugs that won’t slide around.

You will and guards for all of your legs….tables, sofa, end tables, chairs, etc. Otherwise things will move when you sit down and scratch the floor.

Happy Anniversary! I blessed that my refrigerator died before the tariffs affected pricing on a new one. Something is very wrong here. Have a great week.

  8. Lola

Congrats on your wedding anniversary. And that’s nice you got a new television before the prices would go up.

  9. Lin

Aww congratulations on your wedding anniversary! And on your new TV! Here in Bulgaria for 37th wedding anniversary we gift anything made out of muslin it symbolises the durability of the couple but also the softness but also the strength of this cloth material 🙂

Yes, the tariffs are crazy. Too bad we are not rich enough to play the insider trading game. Each day we wake up to more travesties.

We are not in this alone.
