I am dealing with a virus that is not Covid, but symptoms are stuffy nose, headache and stomach issues. I dread the colder weather for this reason. Plus, as I get older, I am cold all the time. Cecy Robson sent me a signed, finished copy of Bloodguard; which releases October 22nd. I discovered her Weird Girls series when I first began blogging and have been her assistant for almost nine years! I absolutely loved this romantasy with an Eleven princess and Gladiator hero. It’s dual POV and brilliant. Stay Caffeinated.

You do have such a tough time of it in the colder months. I hope you’re feeling better. That’s so fun about the signed book! I hope you’re having a great week!

  2. Kathryn Trask

Hope you are feeling a bit better now. So many virus type things going around. Lovely to get a signed copy of a book from an author you support. Romantasy is becoming a good thing, last year I didn’t know what it was, but after seeing Fourth Wing in that genre I am a fan.

Bloodguard does look so good! I have it on my TBR for some day! I didn’t realize you’d been her assistant. That’s so cool! My niece has been sick this week with an ear infection, which she thought was better then on Friday turns out she has pneumonia now. :-(. I am hot all the time now that I’m older. That’s why I’m so ready for winter weather to get here! Hope you get to feeling better and have a good week!

I’m so sorry you are dealing with those ills. Some of us are waiting for the ragweed to die. I’ve been sniffy or eye watery a bit but not all day. It’s great you have had that solid relationship all these years. I also got Ultimate Justice and am trying to finish up An Instruction of Shadow for Tuesday.

The Cecy Robson series sounds good – I’ll have to check that out. Still considering the readathon, but afraid of overcommitting 😉

  6. Sophie

I am sorry that you are unwell Kimberly! My husband currently has the same virus and it’s not COVID either… get better soon!!!

  7. Jody

A signed copy of Bloodguard would be to die for, you are very lucky, Kimberly. I hope you feel better very soon 😊

  8. A Voracious Reader

I hope you feel better soon! I’m about to tell my husband I’m divorcing him and he has no clue it’s coming. I hid the guns and my boys are here. I’m sorry they’re about to find out what a terrible person their dad is, but he wouldn’t let it go when I wouldn’t tell him where the guns are. I’m waiting for the boys to finish showering and then the shit is going to hit the fan. I hope we all survive. Wish me luck.

  9. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Oh no! Sorry to hear you’re sick! Hope you feel better soon!

That’s so cool about Cecy! I remember discovering her Weird Girls series right away as well! It was amazing! Still dying to have Emme’s book, hoping that comes to light one day too!

Hope you feel better and enjoy all of your new reads!

    Here’s my StS

I’m so sorry about the virus thing. I hope it clears up soon.

Signed book…yeah! I have no idea how you keep up with all the books consistently coming in.

  11. Lola

I hope you feel better soon. And being cold all the time is no fun. There’s only so many layers you can wear and still be comfortable too. I like autumn when the leaves are turning red and such, but not a fan of winter and the colder months either. That’s awesome Cece Robson sent you a signed copy and that you’ve been her assistant for 9 years already! Have a great week!

  12. Lori

I am so sorry another bug caught you. I hope you feel better quick. I hope that new book will help chase it away.
