On Monday we took the family to Zoolightful at the Zoo. They walked through a winter wonderland, drank hot cocoa, sled down ice slides and saw Santa Claus. It was wonderful. Then Thursday my back started hurting, and I thought I had a bladder infection. Nope, kidney stones. I would not wish this on my enemy. This weekend we celebrated Hazel’s third birthday. Stay Caffeinated.

Oh no on the kidney stones! My husband gets them and they seem absolutely awful. Thankfully they don’t happen too often. I’m glad you were able to enjoy the Zoolights prior to the kidney stones though. I hope you’re having a much better week!

while i am glad you started off the week in a winter wonderland, feel so very sorry about the kidney stones.. i have heard from friends who had them that they are so painful.. hoping you feel all better soon and in time to enjoy the holidays to the fullest..

Sounds like a fine trip to the zoo.

The zoolightful sounds so fun. Ah man, kidney stones- wishing you well.
I was interested in that Anne Bishop anthology, too, for the Others story. 🙂

Feel better and have a good week, Kimberly!

  6. Jessica @ a GREAT read

That sounds like a fun week…right up until the kidney stones of course! Hope you’re feeling better now! And wow, the littlest one is 3 now? That’s crazy! My niece will turn 3 in March and I’m just like where did the time go?

Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but I hope you will enjoy them all!

Good morning! Sorry I linked twice, but I’d messed up my link’s title. 🙄. It’s NOT Viking Week on blog. That was a while ago. It’s just a regular week, although I didn’t have a Fantasy Genre review on Monday.

Oh no I’m sorry to hear you’ve been in pain this week. Everything I’ve heard about kidney stones sounds horrible, so sending good thoughts your way! But yay for the Zoo, that sounds delightful 🙂 I hope you have a good week

Happy birthday to Hazel! But oh no- kidney stones. Ye gods- I hope you’re better soon.

I haven’t read one of Anne PErry’s Christmas novellas in a couple years. I miss em.
