“There are various kinds of wolves…those who are charming, quiet, polite, unassuming, complacent, and sweet, who pursue young women at home and in the streets. And unfortunately, It is these gentle wolves that are the most dangerous wolves of all.”
--Charles Perrault, Little Red Riding HoodWhen a billionaire’s daughter goes missing, it’s all hands on deck.
Missing kids isn’t one of Ryan Wolfgang’s usual cases. “Wolf” is the head of Arrow Tactical Security, a black ops firm that takes on dangerous missions. His life is fast-paced and that’s the way he likes it.But is she a runaway or a kidnapping victim?
Alexandria Rolfe has grown up in the shadow of her father – the world-renowned forensic
scientist and psychologist, Dr. Richard Rolfe. She’s determined to build her own reputation now that she’s graduated with her Ph.D., so when she gets the call about the missing teenager, she jumps at the chance to prove herself. Will they find her alive?
Ryan wants to help his old classmate and maintain his perfect recovery record. Alexandria wants to bring the girl who refers to her as Aunt Alex home, but she can’t deny the career boost from the contacts alone. When they decide to team up, they both hope for a rescue, but they might just find more than they were looking for…
Better to See You, the first book in the Arrow Tactical Security series, is a steamy, suspenseful, contemporary standalone romance. Recommended for readers 18 and over.
Former SEAL Ryan Wolfgang is the head of Arrow Tactical Security. The family of a missing teenager has hired him. They’ve also hired Dr. Alexandria Rolfe, a forensic scientist and psychologist. Has someone kidnapped the girl? Did she runaway? The tale that unfolds balances between the case and the chemistry building between Ryan and Alex.
I enjoy romantic suspense and had a fun time listening to Better to See You. Arrow Tactical Security is a black ops unit that specializes in retrievals. The case was a curious one with lots of twists as the team worked to locate the missing teen and determine motive. It held my attention, as did the interactions between Ryan and Alex.
Both Ryan and Alex are professionals and skirt around the attraction as the chemistry builds. I liked them both and enjoyed listening to their romance unfold. Danger added to the mix, keeping me listening.
Dane Anderson and Chloe Lynn successfully portrayed the hero and heroines’ personalities and emotions. They enhanced the overall story and I recommend listening.
Fans of special ops, romantic suspense and steamy romances will want to check out Better to See You.

Lover of romance
This is a completely new author to me, but your review definitely has me intrigued here. I really love the premise of this one here and the career dynamics involved.
Glad you liked this one.
Great review!
Kimberly
Thanks. She was new to me too.

I think I’d love this. I like romantic suspense and especially if we get a good view of the tactical research / strategy / operations and not just the romance happening. This is my Series on Saturday theme this month and I hadn’t heard of this series.
Kimberly
Yeah, if not for seeing it on the review request list, I had never heard of it. Plus are trained dogs.
Sophia Rose
I like their two different professional roles and that they put the work of finding the teen first. Sounds like a solid romantic suspense story.
Kimberly
Thanks Sophia!

I really need to read more romantic suspense. I like the idea of reading more romance, and combining it with a genre I already read would make it easy to dive into.
Kimberly
Yeah, I prefer it to straight up contemporary romance.
Felicity Grace Terry
A bit put of by the ‘romance suspense’ label but this sounds like a good read and, way over due a ‘wolf’ novel, is definitely one I shall keep in mind.
Kimberly
The romance is served on the side.
