Most of my days were spent working in the mornings and heading outside after lunch to watch the grandchildren ride their bikes up and down the street. It was hot and sticky, but I loathe winter so no complaints here. We visited a couple parks and had a picnic. By Friday I was in my pajamas by 7pm and fighting dozing off..lol Saturday I worked on reviews, newsletters and the challenges before going out to dinner with my husband. Today it’s yard work and laundry. In between all that I got some reading and listening in. Stay Caffeinated.

I’m just the opposite, I hate summer so much! I bet you are worn out! Try to get some rest in there somewhere.

I will take hot and sticky to winter any day! Cold weather just is painful. Sounds like you’re all having a fun summer! I hope you have a wonderful week!

  4. Mary Kirkland

It’s been nice enough to be outside for the last couple of days. it wasn’t too hot and our pool is open this Summer which the kids around here love.

We had an eventful week as my husband was admitted to the ICU on Sunday. Thankfully he’s much better and is home now, but I wasn’t planning on being at the hospital all week. Needless to say, it wasn’t a very productive week for me.

You sure kept busy this week. I don’t blame you for falling into bed early by the end. 😉

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

  7. Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard

Sounds like you are having a lovely but exhausting time with the Royals!

It’s getting hotter here, too. After weeks hovering around 67-75 and dry, yesterday was in the mid-80s and today will be the same. But it’s still pretty dry; in fact, our county is officially in “moderate drought.” It’s usually pretty humid here in the late spring and summer, so this is unusual.

    Have a wonderful week!

You’ve been busy. It’s been hot ehre too, but it’s kinda nice isn’t it? After complaining all winter I’m trying not to now. 🙂

  9. A Voracious Reader

Our week was pretty nice weatherwise. Got a bit hot yesterday, but rain is coming. I think. I have so much to do outside and no energy to do it. Ugh

  10. Jinjer

Ahhh to be a child a kid and be able to ride bikes and play in parks when it’s hot and sticky. Still not sure how I survived Arizona summers without a care in the world and now I can’t handle any temps over 74F. LOL

Hope you have another good week ahead!

Grandkids can be so exhausting! I get it Kimberly! It’s very hot here too but as I hate winter as well I am not complaining either 😉

  12. Whitney

Getting into your pajamas at 7pm sounds like the perfect way to end a busy and productive week.

  13. Jodie

Yardwork and laundry are part of my day as well Kimberly! I too am a big fan of non-winter weather. Have a wonderful week ahead.

  14. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Sounds like a nice week! Minus the weather! I am the total opposite of nearly everyone I know (both in real life and virtually, apparently! Lol)!

Nice new read! That’s a new to me one but I hope you enjoy it!

    Here’s my StS

  16. Juli @ A Universe in Words

So happy to rejoin the Sunday Post after a few months away! It has been super warm here as well and although I’m enjoying it I’m also craving a nice thunderstorm or just some rain, to cool everything down! I also had a very active blogging weekend, prepping some reviews for the next week and catching up on some reading! I hope you have a lovely week 🙂 Juli @ A Universe in Words

  17. Lover of Romance

Happy Sunday! Sounds like you have been enjoying your weekend pretty solidly there! I concur with you, these summer warm days are delightful especially after such a long winter we had! Hope you get some great books read this week.

  18. Rachel @Waves of Fiction

You had a busy week! I read that about Ilona Andrews. I read the first “novella” and bought the second in e-copy, but I saw that about the audio being a pirate version. People suck. I just read the combined audio will be out July 4th. Have a lovely week, Kimberly!

  19. Lori

I am loving this warm weather! Those grands can sure tire you out though. I hope you have a fabulous week!

  20. Mark

Sounds like a good week to me. Hope you are fully rested from it by the end of Sunday.
