Man seeking woman: Hot, rich, smart, witty, self-made multimillionaire Internet genius seeks classy, intelligent, sexy, fun-loving woman who’s interested in settling down and sharing all the good things.

There. Best. Ad. Ever.

I will absolutely find the woman of my dreams, someone who’ll love me for me. Even if my sister thinks I need help dating, I’m confident I can pull this off, courtesy of the great worldwide web.

No. Just no. As a woman and a professional matchmaker, I can’t let Dylan Parker run this ad. He’s the catch of all catches. That’s why his sister has asked me to help her ridiculously good-looking, insanely rich, but socially clueless brother find a woman. As a broker of happily ever afters, I’m known as the Stud Finder since I make a great living pairing wildly successful women with men who won’t fleece them but will adore them. After all, what woman in her right mind wouldn’t fall in love with Dylan?

I mean, besides me. It totally won’t be me.

RomCom Audiobook Novella hot

Stud Finder by Lauren Blakely, a 1001 Dark Nights novella was the perfect RomCom listen. Narrated by Jesse Metcalfe and Grace Grant I laughed at this quirky, sexy and thoroughly entertaining listen.

So Evie is a professional matchmaker, and her best friend’s brother becomes her client after his debacle attempting to use a fashionable and trendy online service. Dylan Parker is a sexy tech geek who prefers conducting everything online unless its visiting local taco dives.

This was such a fun story that begins with Evie interviewing him several times, some of which include homework, as she prepares his profile to find his match. I loved the subtle chemistry at the beginning that slowly built as the two chatted and moved on to spicy and heated. If you are looking for a totally feel-good contemporary romance with moments of humor, delightful banter and a little snark you’ll love Stud Finder.

Jesse Metcalfe was a new to me narrator and one I enjoyed. Grace Grant is established and always enjoyable. Together they made Dylan and Evie come to life and worked perfectly in this dual POV story.

3 Reasons to Listen to Stud Finder:

  • Adorkable (yeah its a word, a combo of adorable and deliciously dorky)
  • Feel Good Romance that will leave you grinning
  • Excellent narrator combo brought characters to life and enhanced the tale.

At just under 3 hours, Stud Finder, is the perfect listen for a late night treat. Just add wine and a few truffles. You’ll be smiling the whole time.

I am pretty sure that I would like this one. I haven’t listened to either of these narrators but I always like to try out new ones. I need to pick up a Blakely book very soon. I will keep this one in mind for when I am looking for a shorter listen.

I didn’t know they did. You can only have ten out at a time. If you try to go over that amount then you have to put one back. I put a bunch on my wish list today when Audible sent the email with the fifty romance books you have to listen to. So far I am finding all kinds I wanted to listen to. A lot of the series I reviewed today is on there, a lot of Mageri including Closer, Nalini Singh. I was surprised at all the ones I’ve been wanting to read. So far it’s been well worth it.

I am embarrassed to say I am practically an audio virgin but you make seem so attractive each time.I read an audio review. Can a read one book and listen to another at the same time and also write? I think I know the answer. ):

Ha, while I can do mundane chores and even data entry while listening, I am not sure I could write. It sure makes folding laundry fun though 🙂

I always love Blakely’s books but I sure didn’t know this was on the romance part of Audible. I’m on my way to add this to my library-thank you!

This sounds really cute. You have me hooked with “”Adorkable (yeah its a word, a combo of adorable and deliciously dorky)”” LOVE it! Hahahaha I have to use that sometime. I like that this is a shorter audiobook. Sometimes I just want a quicker story.

The nice thing about Blakely is that she gives you the full story even if its a novella. I hope you decide to grab it 🙂

Yes. Just use headphones or be home alone. I remember my first audio with a sex scene. I turned beet red. It is very different from reading it.
