It was fantastic to return to the Valhalla AWOL urban fantasy series with Freke Wyrd Voodoo, the third audio in the series narrated by Gary Bennett. Mouse finds himself in Louisiana after being picked up by the feds in Mexico. Laced with Norse mythology, Curry kept us busy as Magnus deals with problems.
Max Abaddon and The Gate to Everwhere is the third novel in the Max Abaddon urban fantasy series written by Justin Leslie and narrated by Luke Daniels. Fantastic world-building, a likeable protagonist and plenty of snark make this series an autobuy.
I was excited to jump into the first audiobook in the Sam Quinn urban fantasy series set in San Francisco. A were who owns a combination bar and bookstore with underwater views…. heck yes. Come meet Sam Quinn and see why I enjoyed The Slaughtered Lamb Bookstore & Bar by Seana Kelly.
We are back again with Pet in the fifth audiobook in the City Between with Between Homes. Pet is out of the house and staying with lycanthrope Daniel, and her new friend Morgana. The house is strange, as you’ll soon see. Filled with great character interactions, it was fantastic to be back in this world.
