I finally managed to read the Epilogues for The Beginner’s Guide to Necromancy series by Hailey Edwards. The Epilogues: Part II, How To Survive an Undead Honeymoon delivered a chilling mystery and Epilogues: Part III, How to Rattle An Undead Couple shares the birth of their firstborn. Old friends, laughs, shenanigans and romantic moments made these enjoyable.
๐ง Crowbones Anne Bishop
We are back at the Jumble, a rustic resort located in the Other’s territory. The resort on Silence Lake is run by human, Vicki DeVine. It’s the other’s version of Halloween, called Trickster Night, and human guests have arrived to experience the fun. Only things turn deadly when Crowbones’ appears, the Crowgard’s version of the bogeyman. A suspenseful mystery with characters I love that kept me listening past my bedtime.
๐ง An Immortal Guardians Companion by Dianne Duvall
An Immortal Guardians Companion by Dianne Duvall narrated by Kristin Potter has cut scenes, interviews and a complete list of the immortals and their abilities. I enjoyed the expanded and cut scenes, notes from the author and interviews in character voice. A perfect gift for an Immortal Guardians fan.
๐ง High Jinx by Kelley Armstrong
High Jinx by Kelley Armstrong is the second novel in the Cursed Luck series and concludes Aiden and Kennedy’s story. With a mystery involving cursed paintings, this urban fantasy has a cozy vibe with a side of romance. I had fun listening and hope Armstrong tells more stories from this world.
