I was eager to dive into Voice of Fear by Heather Graham, not just for Patrick Law’s story but to see the case involving human trafficking and those of a cop who is still searching for a victim, even in death.
Narrated by Devon Sorvari, Rebel Magic by Kim Richardson is the ninth novel in the Witches of Hollow Cove series. Snark, humor and danger ensue as Tessa tries to figure out what is off about her aunt’s groom, Derrick Beaudelaire. Oh, and Lilith decides Lucifer needs to go.
The idea of modern day witches and a magical heist gone wrong appealed to me. I dove into The Witches of Moonshyne Manor by Bianca Marais, with high expectations and I was not disappointed.
