Doctor Sleep by Stephen King

The Fairwick Chronicles by Juliet Dark (a pseudonym for Carol Goodman) has been an absolutely delightful journey and I was both excited and sadden to begin Angel Stone the final book in this trilogy. From the setting to the supernatural creatures this has been a magical journey with fascinating creatures, and a romance that kept me on edge. The final book delivered as we saw character growth, and had questions answered. Three word review: enchanting, thrilling and filled with folklore.

The Morning Star the third and finally book in this non-stop action tale of Katerina Alexandrovna, Duchess of Oldenburg, necromancer who longs to be a doctor in a world of men. Bridges delivered a tale, froth with danger, and weaved in a sweet romance. Three word review: captivating, suspenseful, and heartwarming.

A Human Element by Donna Galanti

I was drawn to the synopsis of A Human Element by Donna Galanti and it’s promise of a girl with healing powers and a serial killer who haunts her dreams. Galanti delivered a dark, gritty tale with a science-fiction twist that was both fascinating and disturbing. Three word review: dark, suspenseful and hopeful.
