Shut Up and Kiss Me is the second novel in the Lost Boys series by Jessica Lemmon. The romance was delivered in dual narratives and provided a breath of fresh air to the New Adult genre. With its likable characters, low angst and feel-good story Shut Up and Kiss Me delivered the perfect escape.
Marrow by Tarryn Fisher with its clever cover and tempting synopsis found its way into my TBR pile. A recent blogger review bumped it up my pile and I devoured it during the March Take Control of Your TBR Challenge. Twisted, addictive, dark, brilliant and gritty I devoured Marrow.
Let Me by Cecy Robson is the second book in the O’Brien Family series and there are crossover characters from her Shattered Past series that fans will appreciate including Finn our hero in Let Me. I love the O’Brien family to pieces and trust me these brothers are HOT!!! While part of a series, Let Me will work as a standalone and delivered characters who will make you smile, weep and reach for truffles.
He Will Be My Ruin by K. A. Tucker is a standalone suspense that will grab the reader from page one and hold them until the last page is turned. He Will Be My Ruin was brilliantly told through the voice of the protagonist, with a few chapters dedicated to her best friend through journals. Tucker created a riveting suspense that kept me guessing.
Forgotten Promises by Jessica Lemmon is book #1.5 in her Lost Boys series. Forgotten Promises offers a heart-breaking story with a flawed, damaged hero who will anger you and have you wanting to heal him all in the same breath. Lemmon continues to amazing me with her unique storylines.
