The Last Boyfriend is the second novel in the Inn BoonsBoro Trilogy by Nora Roberts. Set in Maryland these small town tales share the lives of the Montgomery brothers and their women. In this installment we learn Owen and Avery’s story. Filled with romance, a ghost and small town characters that you will come to love, this novel is sure to delight the romance lover in you. While Roberts does a great job of making sure each book can be read as standalone, I recommend reading them in order
Big Sky Country by Linda Lael Miller
Big Sky Country is the first in a new contemporary romance series called Swoon-Worthy Cowboys by popular author Linda Lael Miller. If you follow my blog, you know I am not a huge fan of contemporary romance. There are two exceptions; small towns and heroes in cowboy boots. I have read several of Miller’s series and loved them. In particular The McKettrick’s and the Creed’s. Big Sky Country offers a new town and cast of characters to fall in love with. Each of Miller’s books are designed to be read as standalone. I enjoy reading them in order and building relationships with the characters.
Sunrise Point by Robyn Carr
Sunrise Point by Robin Carr takes us back to the wooded hills of Virgin River. This is the nineteenth book in the Virgin River series. If you follow my reviews you know this is one of my favorite small-town contemporary romance series. I was delighted that Carr brought us Nora Crane’s story. Carr delivers a heart-felt romance built on friendship and trust.
What She Doesn’t Know by Lina Gardiner
What She Doesn’t Know is a romantic suspense novel, that takes place primarily on an isolated island of the Bay of Fundy. Gardiner known for her paranormal romances delivers a suspenseful tale, filled with a secret society and a group of greedy thugs who want to uncover treasure. I quickly became engrossed in the tale and its characters.
Best Man, Worst Man by Stacy Gail
Best Man Worst Man by Stacy Gail is a delightfully funny, contemporary romance, complete with chocolate, and some serious toe-curling kisses. Gail delivers a charming feel good romance that I easily consumed in an afternoon.
