Seveneves by Neal Stephenson spans five thousand years from a catastrophic event that will doom Earth to man’s determination to save the human race. At eight hundred and eighty pages, this massive tome is filled with details that will excite your inner geek and for the most part, I was riveted.
Rescuing the Bad Boy by Jessica Lemmon
Rescuing the Bad Boy is the second novel in Jessica Lemmon’s Second Chance series and after the good time I had with Bringing Home the Bad Boy I knew I had to read the next installment. Boy Howdy am I am glad that I did. Donovan Pate made my heart do flip-flops and I wanted to kiss every one of his scars. Jessica Lemmon brings heat to this small-town romance series with fleshed out characters and a town readers will want to visit again and again.
Moonlight on Nightingale Way by Samantha Young
Moonlight on Nightingale Way the sixth novel in Samantha Young’s On Dublin Street series finally gives us Logan’s story and despite flaws the man made my heart melt as I swooned. Touching, sexy and full of healing, love and family Young delivered all the elements that make her stories and characters memorable.
Crave by Jennifer Dawson
Crave is the first in the Undone series by Jennifer Dawson. I love Jen’s Something New series and was excited to dive into Crave. Fleshed out characters and surprising depth this story will have you falling for Layla and Michael. I absolutely enjoyed their slow-building edgy romance.
Overruled by Emma Chase
I absolutely adored the Tangled series and Drew Evans, so I was a tad nervous going into Overruled the first novel in Emma Chase’s new The Legal Briefs series. Ultimately, I ended up falling for these characters as Chase made me shake my head, laugh aloud and swoon when Stanton finally figured it all out.
