I love zombies, and Courtney Summers thrilled me in This is Not a Test, so when I learned that the sequel, Please Remain Calm was being released I squealed. Gripping, intense and oh lord I want more, Please Remain Calm satisfied by zombie fix on so many levels.
Magic Bleeds by Ilona Andrews
OMG! I love the Kate Daniels series on audio. Renee Raudman is a fantastic narrator and Ilona Andrews is brilliant! Magic Blends rocked my world. Listen, I never, and I mean never read or listen to a series books back to back. I usually wait two or three weeks between them, but I dove right into Magic Bleeds after finishing Magic Strikes. I am so glad that I did. Magic Bleeds was action packed with relationship advancement and so much humor I had tears streaming down my face as I cackled.
Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead
I have been on a bit of an urban fantasy binge and thanks to my new audio addiction; I have finally begun checking series off my tbr pile and wish list. I owned Succubus Blues but upgraded to the audio and I loved Elisabeth Rodgers narrative. Succubus Blues was fun, with an interesting cast of characters and a mysterious murder mystery. Georgina Kincaid is inquisitive, unique and a coffee lover. I have a feeling we are going to be friends.
Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews
OMG! As Kate Daniels would say, “Sh@t, f@ck, Sh@t.” Magic Strikes about blew my mind. Action packed with moments that had me gritting my teeth, laughing aloud and swooning like a schoolgirl. I am addicted to this series.
Alias Hook by Lisa Jensen
I loved Peter Pan as a young girl and dreamed of flying to Neverland. I wanted to spend time with Peter, Wendy, Tink and the Lost Boys. Like most children, I loved and hated Captain Hook. He was the perfect villain to my handsome young hero Peter. So when I saw reviews of Alias Hook an adult novel about Neverland and Captain James Benjamin Hook I knew I had to read it. Brilliant, captivating and clever Alias Hook was an audible book I adored from start to finish.
