The Scribe by Elizabeth Hunter is the first in the Irin Chronicles. Danger, romance, exotic locations and secret races. Steeped in mythology this fantasy series narrated by Zachary Webber kept me listening into the wee hours.
In Carnations and Chaos by London Lovett, I headed back to Port Danby for another cozy mystery. The series features a heroine with an astute nose.
First, I did not one-click this book because the dude on the cover reminded me of Keanu Reeves. ? Ok, so maybe I did! ? But, I love romantic suspense and I wanted to try this author. Plus the synopsis grabbed me. ‘Nough said.
