I devoured this tale, found a new author to love and added another urban fantasy to my must read list.

The Novice by Taran Matharu is the first in the Summoner series and one readers will enjoy. From the stunning cover to the supernatural creatures this young adult fantasy delivered. I will warn you the cliffy is draw dropping but I promise this one is not to be missed.
I have come to love Courtney Summers writing from her zombie novels to her newest novel All the Rage, a gritty and realistic look at rape and other events in a small-rural town. A poignant, beautifully written story Summers holds nothing back and once again, her writing left me breathless.

Golden Son was stunning as Darrow and his motley crew of colors moved closer to freeing society from its chains. The story was intense, with panoramic views and a flawed hero worthy to be King.
