We are back at the Jumble, a rustic resort located in the Other’s territory. The resort on Silence Lake is run by human, Vicki DeVine. It’s the other’s version of Halloween, called Trickster Night, and human guests have arrived to experience the fun. Only things turn deadly when Crowbones’ appears, the Crowgard’s version of the bogeyman. A suspenseful mystery with characters I love that kept me listening past my bedtime.

High Jinx by Kelley Armstrong is the second novel in the Cursed Luck series and concludes Aiden and Kennedy’s story. With a mystery involving cursed paintings, this urban fantasy has a cozy vibe with a side of romance. I had fun listening and hope Armstrong tells more stories from this world.
