I love a good locked-room mystery and dove into the technothriller, Pryor & Cummings: The GAIA Incident by Rod Pennington, not knowing what to expect. Pennington delivered a suspenseful mystery with interesting characters and plenty of twists. Fans of crime thrillers and technothrillers will want to grab this one.
The One Who Loves You by Pippa Grant is the first audiobook in the Tickled Pink romcom series featuring the Lightly family. First up is thirty-year-old Phoebe Lightly, who has spent her life working towards running the family empire, but all that changes when her grandmother has a near-death experience and sets Phoebe’s world on end.
Set in the south, The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix tells the story of a suburban housewives book club that must protect their community from a blood-sucker. Narrated by Bahni Turpin this southern horror story pulled me in.
We return to Sunrise Cove in the second novel, The Friendship Pact by Jill Shalvis. I love this small town lake community and settled in to watch brother’s work things out and best friends turned awkward find happiness. Grab a beach chair because you’ll want to settle in with this one!
