The Goodbye Café by Mariah Stewart was Allie’s story in the delightfully charming, small-town Hudson Sisters series. Allie was the toughest sister to warm up to, but growth and self-reflection stoked the fires.
I was drawn to The Binding by Bridget Collins for it’s gorgeous cover and promising premise. Collins introduces us to the binding of memories and the damage forgetting painful memories or worse precious ones can do.
When We Left Cuba by Chanel Cleeton shares Beatriz Perez’s story. Rich in the history of the 1960s and the Cold War, it also shares a forbidden romance as Beatriz fights to free her beloved Cuba.
In Her Sights, is the first in the Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters series by Katie Ruggle. As a first in series there was a lot to accomplish as Ruggle set the series up and introduced key characters. Snark, romance and plenty of action await you.
The cover for Sinister Summer by Colleen Gleason spoke to me last October when it was on sale and I am delighted I grabbed it. Come to Wicks Hollow as we uncover a mystery, find romance and have high tea.
In Witch Way Did He Go? by Dakota Cassidy panic, suspense and sorrow darken our door when Crispin Alistair Winterbottom goes missing. The tale that unfolded was an addictive listen, narrated by Hollie Jackson.
Nightchaser is the first novel in the Endeavor science fiction romance series by Amanda Bouchet. I chose to listen to the audio narrated by Susan Bennett. A slow start gave way to an engaging read.
