The Frost Maiden’s Kiss by Claire Delacroix is the third novel in the True Love Brides series and was narrated by the talented Saskia Maarleveld. Delacroix takes us to Ravensmuir where Malcolm has returned to rebuild his ancestral home before time runs out. Engaging, surprising and filled with twist I found myself enchanted by The Frost Maiden’s Kiss.
Wickedly Dangerous & Wickedly Wonderful by Deborah Blake
Wickedly Dangerous by Deborah Blake is the first book in the Baba Yaga series and was recently released by Tantor Audio featuring Romy Nordlinger as narrator. A twist on the Baba Yaga lore, Wickedly Dangerous delivers a mystery wrapped in paranormal woo-woo with a side dish of romance.
Visions by Kelley Armstrong
I have been in a bit of a reading slump and decided to pick up a book I have had in my tbr pile forever. Visions by Kelley Armstrong the second book in the Cainsville series was exactly what I was craving and once again, Armstrong delivered. It only reaffirmed my love for this series and the strange town of Cainsville.
The Accident Season by Moïra Fowley-Doyle
The Accident Season by Moïra Fowley-Doyle was not on my radar until I read a review from a fellow blogger. Then an opportunity to review the audio version with Colby Minifie reading presented itself and I jumped. I am so delighted that I did so as the Accident Season was beautiful, dark, mysterious, and quirky.
Shadows Strike by Dianne Duvall
Shadows Strike was a stellar addition to the Immortal Guardians series by Dianne Duvall. Heat, intense action scenes and strong characters had me completely immersed in this world. Shadows Strike is the sixth novel in the Immortal Guardians series and can work as a standalone, although there is an overall story ARC between good and evil. I started this series with the fourth book and will eventually start at the beginning. *glares at TBR pile*
