Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King and Owen King was one of my most anticipated fall audio listens, and I am shocked and sad to say, I was not impressed. To be fair, I went into this cold, as I do all of King’s books and didn’t read the synopsis. It is indeed a world where men have to learn to deal without women. If this weren’t King, I probably would have DNFed this around the 50% mark.

Halloween in Paradise by Kathi Daley
Please welcome Sophia Rose as she shares a cozy audio, Halloween in Paradise written by Kathi Daley and narrated by Coleen Mario. Grab a cup of witches brew and check out this mystery.
Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman
PRACTICAL MAGIC by Alice Hoffman originally released in 1995 and soon became a movie, which to this day I make a point of watching every fall. I read the book right before the movie released and over time my memories of the book and the movie blurred.
Stillhouse Lake by Rachel Caine
I received STILLHOUSE LAKE by Rachel Caine from Prime’s Kindle First feature and added the audio for a few dollars. I am really glad that I did as the narration by Emily Sutton-Smith was superb. Caine delivers a psychological thriller that kept me on edge. It is the first novel in the Stillhouse Lake series. Addictive with small-town quirks, twists, and suspense.
An Offer From a Gentleman by Julia Quinn
AN OFFER FROM A GENTLEMAN by Julia Quinn is the third novel in the delightful historical romance series, Bridgertons. Quinn has fun with this tale delivering a fairy tale retelling of the classic Cinderella complete with an evil stepmother. I delighted in the story even if miscommunication frustrated me.
The Lightkeeper’s Daughters by Jean E. Pendziwol
THE LIGHTKEEPER’S DAUGHTERS by Jean E. Pendziwol and narrated by Dara Rosenberg, Dawn Harvey, and Tom Parks shares the story of events that happened twenty years before on Porphyry Island situated on Lake Superior. Pendziwol skillfully brings past and present together brilliantly.
