It’s no secret that I love a good historical fiction and when Racing with the Wind came on tour, I jumped at the chance to review it. Regan Walker offers a delightful Regency romance filled with wonderful characters, spies, mystery and adventure. I became caught up in the tale and it kept me enthralled to the last page.
Yesterday by C.K. Kelly Martin
I love dystopian novels and was drawn to the synopsis for Yesterday. The bulk of the tale takes place in 1985. Not to give my age away or anything, but I graduated from high school in 1985. My teen years seriously reflect all that you know about this iconic time in history. Martin creates a suspenseful science-fiction dystopian and wonderfully portrayed the eighties as I remember them.
Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I am a huge fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout and was delighted to be given the opportunity to review her newest novel Cursed. Armentrout brings her own spicy twist to death and kids with supernatural powers. This tale has mystery, suspense and an oh so sweet romance. I quickly consumed this and hope it becomes a series.
The Lost Night by Jayne Castle
The Lost Night was an absolute pre-order for me. I love the Harmony and Arcane series. All of the books are designed to be read as a standalone, but I have read them in order since book one. The Lost Night offers up a suspenseful paranormal mystery with a healthy side dish of romance. Every time I open a Castle novel I find a delicious escape.
