Swoon… I think Almost Just Friends by Jill Shalvis was my favorite Wildstone romance to date. I laughed, swooned, cried and damn it I want to book a room at the B&B and eat blueberry pancakes!
I didn’t realize when the cover and synopsis pulled me in to The Janes by Louisa Luna, that this was book two in the Alice Vega series. Gritty, dark, with moments of humor Luna delivered a suspenseful crime thriller that could easily have been pulled from today’s headlines.
After devouring the Mercy Kilpatrick series, I was delighted to see a new series by Kendra Elliot. The Last Sister is the first book in the Columbia River series involving FBI agent Zander Wells. In a rural Oregon logger town darkness awaits in this riveting murder-mystery thriller with ties to the past.
And we are back in Paris with Graves of Retribution by Lina Gardiner, the third and final book in the City of Bones spin-off series involving Jess Vandermire, Captain of New York City’s Vampire Hunting team.
