With a complex protagonist and a battle against evil, Angel Eyes was beautiful written and a delightful addition to this popular genre. While steeped in faith, this novel didn’t overwhelm and I enjoyed the tale, romance and battle of good verse evil.
Black Moon Awakening by Lina Gardiner
Black Moon Awakening quickly captured my attention from the first page and held it to the last. Sworn enemies work together to protect their races, humankind and stop a twisted plot for supremacy. This tales was action packed, with a romance that left me wanting more..
Sweet Chaos by Misty Evans
Sweet Chaos delivered non-stop action, danger, and kick-ass characters that kept me spellbound. If you have been following my blog you know about my infatuation with chaos demon Radison Beaumont. In fact I recently interviewed him. If you missed this hilarious post, you can check it out here. While each novel can be read as standalone, I highly recommend you read Revenge is Sweet first.
A Rogue By Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean
A Rogue By Any Other Name is the first in the Rules of Scoundrels series and absolutely yummy. If you’ve been following my blog, you have read my reviews for MacLean’s Love by Numbers series and are probably aware that I adore this author and was sad to see the series end. Her tales captivate me, as they deliver feisty strong-willed heroines and the swoon-worthy men they tame. Imagine my delight when I realized this new series featured a character I met in the last one. I quickly consumed this and loved every delicious moment of it.
ALIBI Volumes I-IV: The Complete Series
Alibi Volumes I-IV is a collection of four one hundred page novellas, that each delivers the POV of a suspect. Written by four different authors this murder mystery offers a refreshing and unique twist. I was captivated from page one of the first book and became immersed in the characters. The synopsis states that each has an alibi and no one is innocent. I found this to be delightfully true and consumed this in a single evening.
