It sounds like while I was gone on my cruise last week we had a bunch of storms too! Some crazy flash flooding as well. I think your kids might start back a week before ours do? Although I go back to school 10 days before the other teachers, so I go back next week!

The Rebecca Zanetti books looks so good and I’m really curious about The Bewitching. I hope they (and you!) have a bit of a laid back rest of the summer. I’m not putting bets on when you start hearing “I’m bored”! Have a great week!
Olivia
Have fun with the kiddos!
Joanne
School starts on August 12?!!!
Carla@CarlaLovesToRead
We also had storms this past week, Kimberly. My grands don’t go back until the day after labour day, so there will be lots of days in the pool to come.

My daughter is bored all the time. Luckily we homeschool so I am going to start a few lessons next week to alleviate her boredom. *wink*

We’ve been having typical summer Florida weather, sun with an afternoon thunderstorm. They don’t last very long and a lot of the time they go around us.
Mary Kirkland
My grandson has his Roblox games so he never gets bored.
Anne - Books of My Heart
I hope your summer entertainment skills are strong. There’s always reading! I had to go grab You Can Scream after I saw you got it. Stay cool!
Sophia Rose
Oh no, the dreaded ‘I’m bored’ cry. LOL Its been a stormy and wet last few days for us, too.
Have a good week, Kimberly!

I am not a fan of storms and we’ve had lots of them around here this summer. Sometimes they cool down the temps, but that hasn’t been the case this summer. Have a great week! 🙂
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
I hope you enjoy coming up with activities to do with them—or that they can do together! Have a good week, hopefully with fewer storms.
Val
I’m reviewing Atonement Sky this week too. Love that series and author. I’ll come back on Tuesday to see what they thought.

We’ve been having a lot of summer rain here too, interpersed with really hot days. We haven’t been outside as much as we wanted to. Hopefully there will be some nice days before summer is over, it’s going by so fast! Hope you and your famiy have a great time before school starts!
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
It seems like summer has been flying by. Can’t believe the kids have less than a month left. Yep, I’m bored is the classic summer blues phrase! Movies, library and pool are good options! Five Alarm Love looks good. Have a wonderful week, Kimberly!

Hopefully this next week is full of sunshine and happy, content children 😉 Have a great rest of your weekend and happy reading!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
We finally had some rain this week as well, but it was only two days if I recall and was extremely brief. I feel like we could use some, especially if it will drop our temps down a bit because it is sooo hot and I hate it. Lol.
Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS

Happy Sunday! We have been having storms too – keeps washing out the end of our driveway (eyeroll) but they cool us down so … you win some and lose some.
Becki
We had a couple storms. My son is annoyed school supplies are already out, since we don’t go back til September.
Jill
We had storms too- every day during rush hour. It was a long week. Hope the kids have fun with what’s left of break.
Emily @ Budget Tales Book Blog
We need a storm here. It is however supposed to be cooling down.
22 July is the last day of school until 3ish September (I will double check that nearer the time 😂). I am starting to look up things that we can do…
Have a great week!
Sophie
Haaa entertaining kids when it’s summer break… it takes a lot of energy and imagination! Good luck with that Kimberly.
Lori
It always amazes me how early kids there go back to school. Our don’t go back until late August/early September.
Kimberly
They have been out of school since mid-May…lol

I hope they last longer than Wednesday then 😀

Oh, yes, I do remember how quickly kids can get bored.
