On Friday, Winchester turned one. He is the sweetest cat and we celebrated with a little cream. We are officially on vacation. No work & no grandbabies. We are doing a semi-staycation for the next two weeks. Some trips, some projects but most of all some R & R. Stay Caffeinated.

Nice! This is the best time of the year to do those! I will be doing a mix of that in a month or so. Hope you get some fun trips and relaxing done, you and the hubs deserve it! Hope you have a fun week.

  2. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Oh yay for vacation! I really want another little vacay myself, but I’m still waiting for fall events to be announced so I can use my vacation days accordingly! Hopefully those start getting announced soon!

Nice new reads! These are mostly new to me ones! I still need to read Chloe’s book from last year! First time I’ve been behind on her books! Love this series though! And oooh The Book of Ile-Rien’s cover reminds me of the long ago mini series poster The 10th Kingdom! They had that sort of dual upside down image look too! Theirs involved NYC and a fairy tale castle! Loved that mini series! Lol.

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

Ooh I’ve also just requested/received a book by Martha Wells and am super excited to dig into it! Have you read anything by her before? And happy birthday to Winchester! Enjoy your vacation and thanks for hosting 🙂
