The Wild Aces series by Chanel Cleeton has been one I have thoroughly enjoyed. On Broken Wings, the third book in this series shares Easy’s story. I knew going into this tale it might require truffles. As predicted I cried like a baby, even as I smiled. Come meet, Alex “Easy” Rogers your next book boyfriend
Hard to Hold on To by Laura Kaye
If you follow Caffeinated, you already know I am a huge fan of Laura Kaye’s Hard Ink series. Hard to Hold on To is a novella that features Edward “Easy Cantrell” and the story picks up right where Hard As You Can ended. They are returning to the housing located about the Hard Ink Tattoo parlor after their last operation and Easy is helping Jenna Dean recover from the tragic events that occurred. Kaye packed a full novel punch into this novella that will leave readers satisfied and a little sweet on Easy. Enjoy my review and enter to win the international giveaway…
Honor Reclaimed by Tonya Burrows
I accepted Honor Reclaimed, the second book in the Hornet series, thinking it would get me to read the first book Seal of Honor that I own on my Nook. I have been eager to try Tonya Burrows romantic military suspense novels, but alas time slipped away from me, and I dove into this blind. Thankfully, each book features one couple. While I did not know the other members of the team, Burrows did a darn good job of bringing me up to speed. I am so glad I jumped, and I will be clearing time from my schedule to go back and read Seal of Honor. Ooh rah!
Wind Chime Café by Sophie Moss
Wind Chime Café is the first in the Wind Chime series by Sophie Moss. From the setting to the characters I slid right into this feel good tale. Moss delivered an engaging tale with few twists and characters that wrapped around my heart. Mini review: Small-town charm, sweet romance with a Navy Seal hero and a little girl who will steal your heart.
Gifts of Honor by Stacy Gail & Rebecca Crowley
Gifts of Honor features two heart-warming holiday tales about loss, hope and second chances that had me crying, signing and craving chocolate. I am a sucker for holiday themed novels, but when you add in injured, damaged military men and their romances, lord have mercy this woman gets gooey on the inside. The book contains two stories; Starting from Scratch by Stacy Gail, an author, whose work I have previously enjoyed, and new to me author Rebecca Crowley shared a Hero’s Homecoming. Both authors had me breaking out the tissues and believing in the power of love. Mini review: heart-warming, sensual and perfect for the holidays.
