Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco is the first in an unnamed trilogy. I had the pleasure of meeting the author at BEA and obtaining a signed ARC. Stalking Jack the Ripper was an engaging, dark, twisted and clever historical mystery that takes place in Whitechapel in the late 19th century as a young woman, along with her Uncle and his apprentice work to catch Jack the Ripper.

Against a Brightening Sky by Jaime Lee Moyer
Against a Brightening Sky by Jaime Lee Moyer is the last book in the Delia Martin trilogy. A wonderful historical murder-mystery trilogy set around the 1900’s in San Francisco wrapped in paranormal elements. Against A Brightening Sky delivered a dark mystery weaved with Russian history that quickly held me captive.

Despite some issues, Sorcerer to the Crown with its dry humor and colorful character ended up making me smile.
