The Wanderer by Robyn Carr

Robyn Carr is the author of one of my favorite small town romance series Virgin River and when it came to an end after twenty books and five years I was deeply sadden. I worried that her new series Thunder Point would not give me the same warm and fuzzy feeling that Jack and the folks of Virgin River gave me. The Wanderer blasted those fears out of the park, and I am in love with a small beach town nestled on the Oregon coast line and the folks who live there.

Ten Tiny Breaths by K.A. Tucker

I have been read a slew of contemporary book of late, and while I do not think I will ever fully connect with young adult contemporaries, I am finding I truly enjoy them in the new adult and adult genres. Ten years ago I would have gagged and called you a liar if you told me I would come to love them. While they still cause me to become way to emotionally involved I am at peace with it. Ten Tiny Breaths by K. A. Tucker kept a little piece of me when I closed the book. The tale was powerful, tragic, heartbreaking, and romantic.

Every story has two sides and McGuire shared the raw, gritty, emotional side of Travis and his relationship with Abby. I literally consumed this in a single afternoon, as I laughed, cried and found myself swept up in the beautiful disaster of these damaged soul-mates
