Tough Love is the third book in Lori Foster’s Ultimate series and after the proposal Vanity Backer made Stack “The Wolf” Hannigan in Holding Strong, I have been anxious for their story. Foster delivered and their romance was hot, sweet, humorous and filled with delicious banter and teasing.
Last First Kiss & Right Wrong Guy by Lia Riley
Welcome to Coffee Pot Reviews! These are short and sweet reviews done in the length of time it takes my coffee pot to brew! I have the first two books in the Brightwater series by Lia Riley to share today. Last First Kiss & Right Wrong Guy are set in Brightwater, California a rural farm community on the brink of change. If you like small-town, contemporary romances with a touch of heat and a whole lot of sweet stick around. Grab a cup of iced mocha coffee and enjoy…..
Made for Us by Samantha Chase
I was drawn to Made For Us by Samantha Chase because I have a weakness for series involving brothers and small-towns. This is the first book in the Shaughnessy Brothers series and I was excited to dive in. While I had issues with the characters and angst, Chase managed to make me smile.
Truly Sweet by Candis Terry
Truly Sweet is the last book in the Sweet, Texas series by Candis Terry and it was one of my favorites. Former Marine Jake Wilder has returned home after being honorable discharged. He carries with him a world of guilt and pain. Truly Sweet is a friends to lovers romance and it delivered all the swoons, tears and joy one comes to expect when embarking on one of Terry’s small-town romances.
If You Dare by Jessica Lemmon
I adore Jessica Lemmon’s Second Chance series, so when I saw If You Dare I had to snag it. If You Dare, is one of her earlier works and was originally a novella. The story has been updated and turned into a full-length novel. This was a fun, heated romance filled with snark and tenderness.
