Lake Silence by Anne Bishop is the sixth book in the Others series and one of my most anticipated books for 2018. I was nervous leaving beloved characters behind, but I was in good hands as Bishop transported me to the small rustic resort near Lake Silence and introduced me to a new heroine, humans, and others. Lake Silence was brilliant from beginning to end. I cannot wait for more.

Burn Bright by Patricia Briggs
While I adore Mercy Thompson, the Alpha & Omega series is my favorite series by Briggs. Burn Bright by Patricia Briggs is the fifth book in the Alpha & Omega series and take place in the same world as the Mercy Thompson series. Burn Bright packed a wallop and kept me on edge. I lost myself in the story and devoured it in one sitting.
Discount Armageddon by Seanan McGuire
The InCryptid series has been on my backlist for quite some time. Discount Armageddon did not disappoint! What a fun start to the InCryptid series and I am delighted I chose to listen. Snark, action, suspense and all types of paranormal creatures await you in Seanan McGuire’s Manhatten.
Hunted by Kevin Hearne
Hunted by Kevin Hearne the sixth novel in the urban fantasy series the Iron Druid Chronicles is aptly named as Atticus, Garnuaile, and Oberon flee across Europe. The gods, Artemis and Diana are pursuing them and oh boy are they angry. Holy addictive listens this had me on the edge of my seat the entire ride!
Murder’s a Witch by Danielle Garrett
Murder’s a Witch by Danielle Garrett is the first book in the cozy paranormal mystery series Beechwood Harbor Magic Mysteries. I was in the mood for something witchy, and this looked fun. Narrated by Amanda Ronconi, Garrett delivered an interesting, fun and entertaining murder-mystery featuring a halfway house for displaced paranormals.
