I grabbed In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware on audio when we chose it as Caffeinated Book Club June book of the month . Ironically, I had recently finished The Woman in Cabin 10 Ware’s newest release. I loved it and was excited to see how this story unfolded. Narrated by Imogen Church, In a Dark, Dark Wood shared a twisted psychological thriller that held me captive.

Cream of the Crop by Alice Clayton is the second book in her deliciously funny and sexy Hudson Valley series. I absolutely loved snarky heroine Natalie Grayson, a size eighteen woman who is comfortable in her own skin. She exudes confidence and sexiness. Her witty, outgoing personality had me laughing aloud and cheering. Cream of the Crop delivered a funny romantic comedy with heart and character growth as city girl meets dairy farmer.

End of Watch by Stephen King

End of Watch by Stephen King is the final book in the Bill Hodges trilogy and it was brilliant. I love King’s work from his classic horror to his twisted tales of supernatural suspense. The Bill Hodges series was the perfect blend of both. I continued listening to audio with End of Watch. Will Patton once again narrated, and I love listening to him. Suspenseful and twisted End of Watch had me holding my breath, shivering and wiping tears from eyes.
