Narrated by Ashley Bryce, Heavenbreaker by Sara Wolf is the first novel in an unnamed series that blends science-fiction and fantasy. I enjoyed this tale of revenge, Jousting, artificial intelligence and unexpected romance set against a corrupt ruling class in space.
Mind Games by Nora Roberts
Mind Games by Nora Roberts delivered a standalone novel of loss, suspense, magical realism, and romance that held me captive from beginning to end. The audiobook narrated by January LaVoy was brilliant and one I highly recommend.
Liar’s Point by Laura Griffin
Liar’s Point by Lauren Griffin is the fifth standalone romantic suspense novel in the Texas Murder Files. Two homicide detectives work together to find the truth in Lost Beach, Texas. Suspense, rivals and hidden feelings soon give way to danger and romance.
One Perfect Couple by Ruth Ware
I loved diving into One Perfect Couple, the newest Ruth Ware audiobook narrated by Imogen Church. This time Ware takes us to a tropical island where five couples are competing to be the perfect couple, but after the first challenge things go terribly wrong when a tropical storm hits, cutting them off from civilization. A suspenseful thriller that will keep you on edge.
A House in Shadow by Erica Damon
A House in Shadow by Erica Damon proved to be a twisty thriller with supernatural elements that hooked me. I recommend going in cold and sticking with it, even when you want to hurl your Kindle across the room. I will keep my review short and spoiler free.
