The Next Always by Nora Roberts
The Next Always by bestselling author Nora Roberts is the first novel in a brand new trilogy. I have been reading Roberts’s books since I was a teen and have come to love her characters, romances and writing style. This enchanting tale has romance, suspense and a ghost.
The Night Strangers by Chris Bohjalian
Night Strangers is a psychological thriller with paranormal elements. It will have you turning the pages to discover the secrets of a small town in New Hampshire. Bohjalian’s tale is reminiscent of Stephen King and the Stand. I chose to read this over Halloween weekend and it was quite a thrill. The ending to this novel will simply blow you away.
Bride of the Night by Heather Graham
Bride of the Night is a paranormal romance at its heart. Heather Graham has woven historical events, people and places from the Civil War into this tale. Graham is so skilled at using just enough references to historical events that it gives an authenticity to the tale
Cemetery Girl by David Bell
Cemetery Girl was an addictive novel, that kept me up till 3 in the morning to reach the conclusion. Bell weaves a believable tale of a parent’s worst nightmare. He delivers it with an authentic voice in Tom Stuart.
