Iron Kissed by Patricia Briggs

Iron Kissed is the third book in the Mercy Thompson series. Mercy is asked to assist in figuring out who is murdering Fae on the reservation. Zee, Mercy’s friend and mentor is later arrested for the murders. Mercy steps in to clear his name and the Fae make it very clear they do not want her help. This novel is my favorite in the series thus far. Briggs blends folklore and fiction to enhance this tale and the effect is delightful. Mercy’s character growth is awesome as she is tested by some of her biggest adversaries. In this novel, Mercy make a much anticipated decision regarding the men in her life.

Hidden Summit by Robyn Carr

I pre-ordered Hidden Summit and was ecstatic when it appeared on my Nook Tablet. As I have stated before this is one of my favorite contemporary romance series. Carr has a gift for spinning delightful tales about this small California mountain town. Each time I visit, she brings fresh characters and a storyline that captures me from page one.

Must Love Mistletoe by Christie Ridgway

I purchased Must Love Mistletoe, for my Nook, because I was looking for a novel to put me in the holiday mood. I have enjoyed other novels by Ridgway and the synopsis piqued my interest. Must Love Mistletoe was a delightful romance about taking risks with your heart, empty nests and small towns.
