Day One by Nate Kenyon is an eerily plausible science-fiction thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat as we experience the first day of a cyber takeover in the heart of New York City. The synopsis says Cloverfield meets the Terminator and that is exactly what Kenyon delivered. Three word review: thrilling, terrifying and past-paced.
Getting Rowdy by Lori Foster
Romantic suspense is one of my favorite genres offering me a little mystery, some action and a side dish of romances with an HEA. Lori Foster and her Love Undercover series has been one of my recent favorites. Since the beginning I have been patiently waiting for Rowdy Yates tale. Getting Rowdy is hands down my favorite of the series to date and was soooo worth the wait! Rowdy Yates Is my new book boyfriend. Three word review: Hot, addicting, and a perfect read.

Blackout is the first book in Robinson Wells Blackout series. An apocalyptic book featuring young men and woman with unique abilities from mind bending to fire breathe. While I still crave more details regarding the world-building, this was an engaging novel and a series that I will continue. Three word review: unique, X-men vibe, action-packed.
