When I saw the premise for The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams, I knew that I had to read it and that gut feeling paid off. The tale delivered a hilarious, heart-warming story about a group of men who help a teammate save his marriage using romance novels as their guide.
Aurora Blazing by Jessie Mihalik is the second audiobook in the Consortium Rebellion series. Intense action, snark, swoons and negotiations made for one helluva an addictive listen.
Today I am back with the next two novellas in the Widow’s Island series by Melinda Leigh and Kendra Elliot. While each book contains a murder-mystery case, the romantic arc and overall cold case is best read in order of the novellas release dates. Grab a cup of coffee and check out my reviews.
Full Throttle by Joe Hill is a collection of short stories. Some date back to 2006 and others are new never seen before. Of course I grabbed my earbuds and listened thanks to the fantastic cast of characters. Let’s hit the road and check out these tales…
Shadow Hunter by B.R. Kingsolver is the first audiobook in the Rosie O’Grady’s Paranormal Bar and Grill urban fantasy series and it’s narrated by Madeleine Dauer. It offered an interesting premise, new beginnings and enough bite to have me looking for the next audiobook in the series.
The Vine Witch written by Luanne G. Smith and narrated by Susannah Jones transports the listener to twentieth century France as it shares a tale of witches, magic, mystery and love.
Dark ‘N’ Deadly by Tee O’Fallon is the third standalone novel in the Federal K-9 series. A young brother in trouble, a dog, and a sexy ATF agent have Tess McTavish almost believing in the happily-ever-after.
The Stalking by Heather Graham is a Krewe of Hunters tale set in Louisiana. It delivered an intense mystery that will have our agents/couple traipsing through the bayou and wandering Jackson Square.
