Splintered, is the third novel in a series involving shape-shifters living in Sanctuary, written by author Dan Murray. In February I reviewed the first novel, Torn and loved it. This novel brings problems from Agony, the Coun’hij, the pack, and Adri’s Mom. Fans of this series will enjoy the tale and be shocked by the ending.
Daimon by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Daimon is the prequel to Half-Blood the first full novel in the Covenant Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. While this novella is only sixty-nine pages in length, it offers the perfect introduction to the protagonist, the world she lives in and her purpose. From the first few pages, I knew I was going to love Armentrout and this series. Fans of mythology and urban fantasy are sure to find this series delightful.
Her Dear and Loving Husband by Meredith Allard
Her Dear and Loving Husband by Meredith Allard is the first novel in, the Loving Husband Trilogy. Set in the town of Salem, Massachusetts, which has cashed in on the witch craze with a Wiccan on every corner and a witch logo on the side of its police car. Here in this picturesque landscape bustling with tourist, there is a world of witches, vampires and were. This contemporary romance was a quick, easy, enjoyable read.
The Gathering Storm by Robin Bridges
The Gathering Storm is the debut novel of Robin Bridges and the first in her Katerina Trilogy. Bridges’ paranormal novel delivers, from the historical aspects of Russia to the supernatural. This was a delightful tale of vampires, fairies, werewolves, witches, necromancers and other supernatural creatures. A combination of Russian history and folklore make this an exciting, addictive read.
Slide by Jill Hathaway
Slide is the debut young adult novel of author Jill Hathaway. Hathaway delivers a suspenseful murder mystery complete with twists, romance and a unique paranormal ability. Slide was an enjoyable read and I got caught up in solving the mystery. I was able to finish this in just a few hours and found it to be a delightfully suspenseful tale.
