SAVING MR. PERFECT by Tamara Morgan is the second novel in the Penelope Blue series about a thief who married an FBI agent. Filled with humor, snark and a string of burglaries Morgan had me flipping the pages, laughing aloud and enjoying this quirky cast of characters.
Well Hung by Lauren Blakely
Well Hung by Lauren Blakely was such a blast to listen too! Narrated by the charming Sebastian York I loved this this banter-filled tale, with scorching heat and a dash of charm.
What Nora Knew by Linda Yellin
I was drawn to What Nora Knew by Linda Yellin based on the synopsis and mention of Nora Ephrom’s movies. This was a humorous look at love and relationships as our snarky protagonist, Molly, a thirty-nine year old divorced writer begins a column for Eye Spy. Mini review: humor, quirky characters and realistic look at love, romance and relationships in the big apple.
The View From Here by Cindy Myers
The View from Here takes place in the small town of Eureka, Colorado and shares with us Maggie’s story and those of some of the townsfolk. It is the debut novel of Cindy Meyers and it was absolutely delightful. I have to tell you I am very excited to have found this author and look forward to reading more of her work. With fleshed out characters, growth and small town drama this tale completely captivated me and had me longing to see the mountainside of this small mining town.
