Slated for my 2017 top ten audio list, THE NIGHT THE LIGHTS WENT OUT delivered an addictive, heart-warming, and suspenseful tale that kept me listening. Grab a cup of coffee and let me take you to the quiet town of Sweet Apple, Georgia where gossip and southern hospitality go hand in hand.
A Murder in Time by Julie McElwain
A MURDER IN TIME by Julie McElwain narrated by Lucy Rayner introduces us to Kendra Donovan, in this time-traveling 1800s whodunit. At times brilliant, this intriguing tale kept me listening even if this was not my favorite narration.

The Night Mark by Tiffany Reisz
Last year, THE BOURBON THIEF made my top ten list, so I knew I had to read THE NIGHT MARK by Tiffany Reisz. I chose to listen to the audiobook, and I quickly devoured this on a rainy weekend. Time travel, interesting characters, and fate made THE NIGHT MARK an interesting listen.
The Last Chance Matinee by Mariah Stewart
I devoured THE LAST CHANCE MATINEE by Mariah Stewart on a rainy and cold Friday evening. While sipping hot cocoa in my favorite chair Stewart quickly transported me to a small town nestled in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. There I quickly became caught up in Cara, Des and Allies’ story. I love when a good story pulls you in and allows you to connect. THE LAST CHANCE MATINEE did just that!
