In Winter Lost by Patricia Briggs, Mercy and Adam travel to Montana when Mercy’s brother Gary is in trouble. I had a blast reading Winter Lost from the gods to their quest. This series is favorite, and while I love this genre in audio, I began reading it and hear the voices as I created them, so I continue to read them.
Cult Classic by Stephen Blackmoore
Cult Classic by Stephen Blackmoore is the ninth and final audiobook of the gritty Eric Carter urban fantasy series. Narrated by Rudy Sanda, Eric is hunting the Oracle of Las Vegas. Time magic, a cult and a spell to raise the dead have our necromancer very busy in this addictive story.
Gray Days by Hailey Edwards
Gray Days by Hailey Edwards is the ninth audiobook in the Black Hat Bureau fantasy series. The Black Hat compound is in ruins and someone has declared open season on agents. Rue has to deal with a surprise visit all while putting out fires and proving herself. Plenty of twists kept me listening.
Chaotic Apéritifs by Tao Wong
Chaotic Apéritifs by Tao Wong is the second audiobook in the Hidden Dishes fantasy series featuring mage Mo Meng and his Nameless Restaurant. The restaurant is warded, but magic wielders are discovering it. Come see why I love this cozy urban fantasy.
Gray Seas by Hailey Edwards
I thoroughly enjoyed being back in the world of the Black Hat Bureau with the eighth audiobook, Grey Seas by Hailey Edwards. In this humorous installment, our motley crew encounters all sorts of trouble while searching for Rue’s grandmother.
