See These Bones by Chris Tullbane is the first audiobook in the Murder of Crows fantasy series. Set in a post-apocalyptic world with superheroes, Tullbane hooked me as we meet Damian Jameson, a crow destine to go crazy like his father and desperate to be a cape.
It was wonderful to be back in the Hollows with the eighteenth book in the series. Demon’s Bluff by Kim Harrison has Rachel trying to undo a curse, bring back the dead and find some time with her elf. Action-packed with dangerous time travel and a stowaway. I couldn’t help but devour the book.
Narrated by Will Watt, An Instruction in Shadow by Benedict Jacka is the second audiobook in the urban fantasy series, Inheritance of Magic. Stephen Oakwood is a novice drucraft wielder who is attempting to navigate this magical world while dodging bullets from his family and finding his father. An addictive second installment in a world I look forward to exploring further.
Drow Rising is the fifth audiobook in the Chronicles of Shadow Bourne by Martha Carr & Michael Anderle. Narrated by Stephanie Savannah, we follow Ellis, a half-Drow, as she finds her own path and protects the City of Los Angeles.
Free As A Bird by Hailey Edwards is the third audiobook in The Yard Birds series, a hilarious urban fantasy with witches, supernatural creatures, magic and mystery. Narrated by Stephanie Richardson, I gobbled this up in one sitting.
