Gilded by Marissa Meyer is the first in an as yet untitled series or trilogy and a haunting retelling of Rumpelstiltskin. Addictive, dark, and romantic, this fairytale will sweep you away and have you checking the phases of the moon.
I downloaded this for free from Audible. The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J. K. Rowling, shares popular fairy tales written for young witches and wizards. With a stellar cast of narrators, you won’t want to miss this audiobook edition.
A Witch and a Fish by Selene Charles is the third audiobook in the Grimm Chronicles and I dove right in after finishing the second. Twist, turns, revelations and transformations await you in this nail-biting installment.
The Long Goodnight by Selene Charles is the second audiobook in the Grimm Chronicles featuring Detective Elle; formally Ariel of Triton, and her partner Maddox (the Mad Hatter). A ball, an ex-risen from the dead and a gang of thieves made for an intense listen.
I read Indexing by Seanan McGuire previously and loved the story from the concept to the inspiration behind it. A secret agency that stops the narrative in fairytales. I somehow missed Reflections the second book and quickly scooped it up on Kindle Unlimited. Gads it was great fun to be back stopping villains with this motley crew of ATI agents!
Travel through the land of Pell with a motley crew of characters in Kill the Farm Boy by Kevin Hearne & Delilah S. Dawson. An over the top humorous tale that reminded me of Monty Python’s Holy Grail. and movies like Spaceballs and Galaxy Quest. This will be a tale that folks will either love or hate so I’ve tried to share reasons to listen.
