I have enjoyed Bell’s mystery thrillers and looked forward to BRING HER HOME. Bell delivered a suspenseful thriller with twists and plenty of red herrings as one Dad frantically tries to discover what happened to his fifteen-year-old daughter.
RAVENHEART is the second book in Dannika Dark’s newest series, Crossbreed. It’s Raven Black’s second week on the job, and Dark lets us warm up to the rest of the Keystone crew, learn more about Raven and hunt a serial killer. RAVENHEART was brilliantly done hooking me from the start and allowing me to experience a smorgasbord of emotions.
UNTIL IT FADES by K. A. Tucker was a delightful, romantic and touching tale of overcoming one’s past and finding a slice of happy. With mentions of my beloved FLYERS, and Pennsylvania setting I quickly slipped into this story and connected with Catherine.
THE DAY OF THE DUCHESS by Sarah MacLean is the third book in the Scandal & Scoundrel series. Grab some wine and tissues because MacLean outdoes herself and delivered a swoon-worthy second chance romance that held me in its grip.
THE GIRL WITH THE MAKE-BELIEVE HUSBAND is the second book in Julia Quinn’s Rokeby’s series. It is a prequel series to the Bridgertons. A desperate sister and an injured soldier lead to a fake marriage in this delicious tale that takes us from the London countryside to the English colonies. Quinn delivered a believable romance with characters you cannot help falling for.
