Robyn Carr is the author of one of my favorite small town romance series Virgin River and when it came to an end after twenty books and five years I was deeply sadden. I worried that her new series Thunder Point would not give me the same warm and fuzzy feeling that Jack and the folks of Virgin River gave me. The Wanderer blasted those fears out of the park, and I am in love with a small beach town nestled on the Oregon coast line and the folks who live there.
My Kind of Christmas by Robyn Carr
I absolutely love Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series and each time I open one of her books I get a warm fuzzy feeling. My Kind of Christmas did exactly that and I enjoyed reading Patrick and Angie’s story. For those of you with your jaw still hanging open at the thought of twenty books in a series; relax. While it is wonderful seeing all the different townsfolk and knowing their stories, you can easily read them as standalone. Each introduced a new couple and their story. I began reading this after dinner Tuesday night which was a mistake. I know once I open her books that I cannot put them down. I found myself up till 2:32 am on a work night! I did that whole “just one more chapter” thing till I got my HEA. * facepalm* I will say it was worth it and I do not regret getting only four hours sleep!
Sunrise Point by Robyn Carr
Sunrise Point by Robin Carr takes us back to the wooded hills of Virgin River. This is the nineteenth book in the Virgin River series. If you follow my reviews you know this is one of my favorite small-town contemporary romance series. I was delighted that Carr brought us Nora Crane’s story. Carr delivers a heart-felt romance built on friendship and trust.
Redwood Bend by Robyn Carr
In Redwood Bend, we get to know Katie Malone and her twins better. In the last novel, Hidden Summit we met and fell in love with her brother Conner. After the danger has passed, she decides to bring her boys to Virgin River to be closer to their uncle Conner. Katie is an Army widow, and a recent encounter with her boss, has made her step back and reevaluate her non-existent love life. I loved this novel and feel in love with the characters and a new place called Payne, Montana.
Hidden Summit by Robyn Carr
I pre-ordered Hidden Summit and was ecstatic when it appeared on my Nook Tablet. As I have stated before this is one of my favorite contemporary romance series. Carr has a gift for spinning delightful tales about this small California mountain town. Each time I visit, she brings fresh characters and a storyline that captures me from page one.
